Daniel Rodríguez has a Ph.D in Science from the UNED (the Spanish National Distance Learning University). He teaches undergraduate subjects of the Physics and Environmental Sciences Degrees at that university, and also several subjects of the Medical Physics Master of the UNED School of Science, all of them related with scientific computing. He has been involved in the Expert and Specialist Course on Remote Sensing and coordinated Ph.D courses on Remote Sensing of Water and on Hyperspectral Image.
As a researcher, he has collaborated with the Marine Resources and Fisheries research group (University of A Coruña), developing software and algorithms for acoustic data processing. He is the author of several scientific papers in the field of medical imaging, computational physics and remote sensing.
